This weekend students and staff at Amarillo College held graduation at Hodgetown to commemorate the achievements students have made in their respective classes and extracurricular activities. The ceremony reflected upon the times that were easy and the other times that were especially challenging with grades and keeping up with all of the coursework each and every student is responsible for while excelling at a desired major. Students received a diploma and a handshake from staff in a sendoff to go live a dream life by themselves. I remember my high school graduation and it was both exciting and bittersweet to be turning a chapter in my life to start a new journey in the job and higher education world. When I started at Amarillo College I was greeted with awesome staff ready and willing to help me in my goals so in my heart I know that these students got the same treatment from them.

Good luck in the future endeavors for the AC class of 2021.
