If you were looking forward to having the Canadian River Music Festival this year you will have to wait until next year as it has been canceled for 2021. The event usually features local artists and concession stands that have drinks and small snack items. I have not been to any festival ever since this started but if I look and see a artist that looks interesting I might consider this as money raised from it stays local and helps organizations.

When reading the article I saw the reason behind the postponement of this event was the amount of preparation and money it would take to make sure everything was set within current guidelines and with the generally large crowd this led to hosting the event in 2022. They hope that this will hopefully be the biggest music festival ever held in a long time when they first started.

It is a little interesting to me how I never have been to this in the town of Canadian Texas and yet when going to the lake I am probably about another hour and a half away. The bucket list probably holds this in the future though especially being a music lover at heart. I recommend this to anyone looking to have a great time full of live music and of course networking with friends and family.

We will see what happens in 2022. Hopefully there is a decent audience to be had.
