Canyon Closes Restaurant in Preparation for Remodel

Canyon residents will have to spend a whole Summer without a place to get a frosty or Dave's Triple. A couple weeks back on a Sunday the Wendy's on 23rd street closed to the public for a remodel that will bring a fresh new look to the restaurant with the upscale amenities of the other new builds that are in Amarillo. The closing leaves Canyon without a place to get a frosty for the Summer but in the long run it will be worth it with a new layout that will provide more flexibility in visits to this location. I checked the results on my maps app and it says that it's only temporary that this location will be closed so rest assured that it will be back to full operation after the construction.

If you have ever traveled along Canyon's Main Street this place is always somewhere that you have most likely seen and pulled into the drive thru here. I hope that through this remodel we can see a new future for the community of Canyon by featuring new abilities that the older facilities could not offer consumers.

The new building most likely will have an updated layout that includes a faster way to get orders than ever before because the equipment will be new and able to handle more things. Employees that work in this location are only on temporary leave and will return soon after reopening the building.

Hopefully by the Fall or sometime within that timeline we will have this restaurant back up and running. In the meantime if you want to get a frosty fix you will have to make the drive to Amarillo and visit the one off of Loop 335.
