I'll start out by saying this TV show was a big influence on me during my Junior high and High school years, sitting on the couch with my family catching up on the latest on the crazy group of physicists.

Let's step back in time and go to when the first episode of Big Bang premiered in March 2007, all of the cast members looked younger and hardly any of them were married, the character Raj who studies astronomy and our solar system seemed to be the only one dating someone.

If you asked me to pick out my favorite character from this series I would tell you Sheldon Cooper, he is funny and doesn't take life too seriously, he is known for knocking three times on his friend Penny's door three times to get her attention, that still makes me laugh to this day even though all Twelve seasons of Big Bang have aired.

The show is a take on the physics Theory where scientists believe the earth was created by a rapid spike of energy that caused a big explosion leading to a habitat for living creatures.

There are multiple conclusions on this, ranging from energy to even cells coming together to shape what we call home.

Big Bang Theory was one of the longest running American sitcoms in TV history beating Sinfeld and The Middle, with the latter starting in the mid to late 90s.

My personal favorite episode of Big Bang is the one when Sheldon finally marries Penny, it seemed to me he always had a big crush on her ever since the beginning. She has a cat and I would always laugh when she pets it with her soft kitty song.

When the final season premiered and creator Chuck Lorre announced it was time to put the series to rest, he combined two episodes, each 30 minutes, into a two hour special wrapping up more than a decade of great episodes.

I still watch this show on syndicated reruns sometimes, but I've also started to get involved in the spin-off CBS did called Young Sheldon, which goes through his life growing up.

I invite you to tune in on CBS on Thursdays at 8/7C. I'll be heading to the living room myself to watch new episodes.

Thanks for reading and I will see you in TV land!!
