City of Borger Hosting Garage Sale at Dome

We are a little over a month away from Spring and you may be going through some things that you don't want anymore. The way you usually donate these possessions is through a place like Goodwill or something similar to that. In a community where you live it's common to see people hold yard or garage sales while keeping prices low in hopes that selling will happen quickly enough to make room for other things that can be brought out.

The City of Borger will be hosting a community wide garage sale on Saturday March 18th from 8 AM to 4PM at the Dome and to register you can visit the website at this link. The items you can donate include:

• House Furniture

• Shampoo and other personal hygiene items

• Blankets

• Chairs and Tables

• Consumables like a can of beans or corn

I would like to see more events like this across the Panhandle that create an opportunity to donate items that you no longer need at your place of residence. This would help other people in places other than Borger declutter and prep for the Spring season. When I was growing up I would have one or two sales at my house to help downsize possessions and make room for other things in place of them.
