City of Canyon Cancels Events for 4th of July

There are a lot of events being canceled amid this pandemic and now the City of Canyon has canceled plans for Independence Day 2020.

According to the Chamber of Commerce everything from the Kicking it in Canyon to the annual fair on the square and parade down 4th Avenue and even the fireworks show at the park. Staff of the city are currently working on refunds for all of the food trucks and vendors for the parade, I am deeply devastated to hear this news amid Covid-19 but as we move further into the crisis it seems numbers of cases go up however the amount of tests are also improving so by the time next year rolls around we can do things together again as a community.
