So I will start out by saying Allsups was always my place to go and get my smaller essentials like milk or paper towels. Still to this day I think it’s so cool to have one right up the street from my house within walking distance. Last year the convenience store chain got bought out by bigger company Yesway and kept the name and sign style on other Allsups stores. Starting this year Yesway main stores have started to carry the World Famous Burrito that’s been around since the days of founder Lonnie Allsup and Lonnie’s Drive-in.

I have not had this burrito to be honest but I have heard that it’s a good way to wake up and get your day started right so you can tackle the tasks at hand. This is the first time ever that an actual Yesway brand store has carried this treasured product on the shelves. If you are wondering how this company got the carriage rights last year there was an agreement reached between the two companies to share the brand name with the main owner which closed the deal in mid 2020.

I want to know your thoughts on this. What do you think about these two companies sharing an iconic item in both main and subsidiary stores?
