With 2020 being so awkward and different Fair events have obviously had to be canceled and moved to next year do to social distancing regulations being in place. This led to people craving fair food and feeling bummed about not being able to go and get popular items like funnel cakes and cotton candy, food truck companies began gaining popularity in most recent times allowing a lot of the well known brands to make smooth transitions of products from the booth to the mobile format where the workers can travel across the country and maintain the regulations in place. These trucks work like the ones you may remember catching for a frozen treat in the summertime as a child but the difference is these are stationary meaning they stay in one spot for a period of time.

They also have different varieties of food to choose from such as the popular fair food that is seen at common community fairs. Social distancing is easy to do since the server is in a confined space and wearing gloves when handling orders made. If I were to run a food truck in the future variety would be my first priority because customers like to see different menu items so the same thing is not just what is available. I see food trucks continuing to be an American staple for many years ahead and even though I haven’t gone to any of my community vendors it is something worth trying in the future.

The most popular time for food trucks in my community seem to be in the Spring and Summer months when warmer weather is at it’s peak. These conditions tend to bring more business because people want to get out more and do things.

Food trucks will make America a great place to live and thrive in the future. I might just have to see what’s on the vendor menus when I get a chance.
