Have You Wanted To Know How Honey is Made? Here You Go

It’s something that you might use to sweeten up a slice of your favorite bread or maybe a little addition to a slice of lunch meat. Vendors use this sweetener to make things like honey roasted chicken or something along these lines.

This condiment that we use can be traced back to ancient times when cave people would find ways to make their own food. The bee hives found in these days most likely had honey made by bees and could be harvested from the home through not disturbing the nest by doing this when they are out pollinating flowers. Companies harvest honey by either hiring vendors that go to local farms and fetch this to bring it to package and ship to stores to put the product up for sell. From there a consumer can get some to stock up on for whatever the purpose is.

I know a few places in my area that make honey locally and I have had Tule Creek honey that comes from Tulia TX which is around 30 minutes to the south of me. Other places in my community include Creek House Honey Farm based in my hometown where they make in house honey from scratch and the owners sell it in their own store made fresh daily so it has a fresh texture that can be able to last a long time in storage.

There’s a little background on the sweet substance we use as a snack item. Maybe I will hit up one of my local stores and try some fresh local craft honey myself in the future. Hopefully that will be in the future at some point.
