Here are Ways To Boost your Energy During The Day

I know we have all been there, we wake up in the morning and don’t really feel like getting the day started. We have the urge to stay in bed and sleep in and this could be caused by not getting enough rest the night before.


Here are 5 ways you can get your energy level back up in the normal range.


  • Find a Workout Routine that Best Fits You-My recommendation is to get a membership to a gym or go and invest in some equipment if you have the money. I use a stationary bike for about 20 to 30 minutes daily and it certainly helps take off that extra weight you may have gained overtime.


Go For A Walk Around your Neighborhood for about 10 minutes-Even if you don’t have anywhere to go you still can get out and do a jog or brisk walk around for a couple blocks. I usually go on the sidewalk and walk around until I get to the other side of my street.


Take a High Fiber Snack or Protein Bar With You-If you are headed in to work and need that extra boost grab a few of these to boost your focus throughout the day.



If You Feel Tired Catch a Nap-The best time doctors say to do this is between the hours of 1 to 3 PM. It does the body good to catch up on the recommended amount of sleep. I sometimes do this on my days off especially after a heavy labor week. To wake refreshed feels great.


Take a Couple Breaks in Between if Doing Strenuous Activity-A 10 to 15 minute break will help the body rejuvenate itself and I suggest drinking water during this time as your system needs hydration to recover faster on a hot day.
