He influenced the music industry by storm from the way he performed to the loyal audience of listeners he had, receiving the nickname "Purple Prince".

Throughout Prince's career he had several albums receive quite a bit of publicity from his listeners, I am a fan of his music especially the song "Purple Rain" which I can remember him performing at NFL Super Bowl 41 during the halftime show along with other iconic ballads. I never got to see Prince in concert except when I watched him on TV, when he was seven he wrote his first song "Funk Machine" before becoming the famous musician he is known as today, at age 17 he signed with Warner Bros Records and released his first album in 1978. He reached platinum status the next year in 1979, starting a trend for the next several years with his next three releases also becoming platinum as well, these albums received a top spot in the Billboard charts.

In my library of downloaded music I have songs from those platinum albums, and let me just say Prince definitely knows how to rock out, I just love the riffs of electric guitar throughout.

I believe that even though he is gone now we are still able to relive his music, that will carry on for many generations.
