I Have A New Grocery Ritual Now That the Pandemic Has Changed The Way We Do Essentials

With the pandemic that hit our country last year many people including myself have resorted to other options when it comes to getting our essential groceries to keep stocked up. I have put the Walmart Pickup app to good use by ordering through this service mostly for going to the store itself. What you basically do is order through the app and put what you need into the cart. From there you pick a time and between the hours shown and sometime during that window you go to the drive-up space and choose the space your in so the workers can pinpoint your location.

The most convenient thing is having your car loaded for you so it can be taken to your house and put in your kitchen and elsewhere. The app will let you know what substitutes you receive in your order and let you know when it’s ready to be picked up. When I signed up for the service I made the default settings to where on every order it automatically comes up with my substitutions. If you decide to get this service I recommend doing the same thing so you can see about any replacement products in case there is no stock on some of them.

You can even use the tower like the one above to confirm your order with the touchscreen that sort of works like what you use at a theater to get tickets without a printer. The concept of this technology lets you choose wether or not you want to physically come up to the store or do it from the app. Just make sure that you set instructions for your loader in case you want your groceries placed in a specific spot in your vehicle.

I invite you to try it out and see what you think. Happy online shopping
