Jimmy Buffet Kicking Off 2021 Tour in Florida

Jimmy Buffett will be hitting the road this Summer on his tour that started last Thursday in Delray Beach Florida. Buffett says he is very excited to finally start performing live in front of fans after the pandemic caused him to cancel all of his shows. His first show sold out in less than an hour so I’m sure fans were excited about his return to the stage. Jimmy calls last year for the recording and performing industry “Getting Through the Storm Together” since it was still that way for fans on Zoom calls being together even in a different location.

To me this is a good sign for artists overall because it means things are starting to look better in the realm of normalcy in our country. I can’t wait to go to my first live concert when I get the chance since no one was doing road tours last year. A lot of different artists have started to participate in fundraisers to help with the economic growth that comes from performing at venues. These funds can be distributed either online or in person usually and can go a long way in helping people like Jimmy Buffett get back on their feet.
