Considered one of the most traditional artists of today Midland is coming to Hodgetown in downtown Amarillo. Formed in the town of Dripping Springs Texas, the band would release the first single “Drinking Problem” with a take on the days when the radio would play 80s and 90s Country songs. It’s great to know that we still enjoy the elements of what the genre of Country and Western bring to us even in these modern times with Red Dirt being a dominant force for this.

The concert is on Saturday April 3rd and gates will open at 6PM with the show starting at 7. There will be specially arranged seating to help with social distancing and masks will be required upon entry of the venue. Tickets are $30 in advance and can be purchased at the Sod Poodles box office or right here at the link to the Sod Poodles website. General manager Tony Ensor says despite tough times everyone has been able to find a way to have live entertainment despite regulations we have had to adjust to.

I am hoping a live concert is in my future once everything gets back to normal.

Hopefully this is a good turnout for the staff of the Sod Poodles and Hodgetown.
