With the Easter holiday many businesses decided to close their doors in honor of the day our Savior rose from the dead. Nascar did this as well by letting all of their staff and drivers have Easter Sunday and the next week off. I am happy to see that they are recognizing this day to be an important part of our Savior and his Sabbath day.

NASCAR has a great business practice when it comes to this in my opinion because they see the community of the good hearted Christians out there who want to have fellowship with loved ones and spend time worshiping at a church service or a bible study session. This opens up a great opportunity to grow in the faith of our Father we serve on a daily basis. I have done things in the past including attending a sunrise service one year which was able to provide exposure to this event. Racing events have always been participating in the national anthem and prayer for a good turnout in a season.

I hope that the racing community continues to honor this day the way it is meant to be celebrated. Looking forward to more great Easter Holidays in the future.
