Have you ever wanted to take the experience of listening to your favorite song on your computer or phone and wirelessly stream it without the use of earbuds or headphones? Tech company Noveto is working on a device to help make that a reality possibly by Christmas 2021. There have been trials on people this year to test it‘s capability. The SoundBeamer 1.0 uses special sensors to make a “sound bubble” around the person using it.

I see this technology as using your auditory system as the main source of getting the sound to you, the inner ear senses the waves put out by this device and you can hear the audio though your ears while still being able to hear your surroundings in the environment. I think this work well for people who either don’t like wearing headphones or they would rather be able to hear noises that they can’t get through traditional listening devices. One example of this could be a conversation with a friend about your favorite band or how a recent concert went, this would fully engage the person even in the presence of a good song when adequate volume is used.

When this finally hits production and can be distributed to consumers I would be interested in being a volunteer to try this for the first time just to see what the technology would do for my listening enjoyment. From what I read basically there is a special tracking device for the movement of your ears to create sound pockets. We will see how popular this becomes by Christmas of next year.
