If you have recently took the time to rescan your Digital TV receiver you might have noticed that the Amarillo ABC affiliate took off the sports themed network Stadium and replaced it with content that relates to the hottest trending videos on the internet. The sources are gathered from services like YouTube and Facebook Watch among other sites, the videos seen mostly consist of funny pet clips or a how to tip from an expert on a project that might improve someone’s life. You can watch this channel on streaming also and on the website at a desktop computer or laptop. I looked on my cable lineup and the same channel comes through there locally as well, this definitely gives viewers options when it comes to how you can watch your favorite show.

If you look online I’m sure you are familiar with the streaming channels FailArmy and AFV TV’s own streaming channel. This network takes the content from these known sources and combine them to create a new product for a new age in the broadcast industry. The way we watch our videos we used to only see on a computer monitor have come to our living room on our big screen LED Smart TV. That goes to show how far we have come in the technological sense of what we can use to entertain consumers. It makes me wonder what could happen next, I can see websites like HowStuffWorks creating a streaming platform where people can create a walk through video of a task and integrate that into the future of the streaming era. I get over the air TV at my lake house so this might be on the entertainment side while I’m relaxing.
Be sure to rescan your TV soon
