Randall County Sheriff's Office and Randall County Fire Department are teaming up once again for the annual Cornhole Madness tournament.

The event is to help raise money for the 501c3 benefit fund for employees who are facing a financial hardship due to an unexpected event like an expensive trip to the doctor or another situation where use of emergency funds might be needed. If you are looking to sponsor your company or service you can sign up to have a custom made so you can have a booth to promote your products or services. This year there is a new way to keep up with scores with an app called Scoreholio where you can create a profile and follow along with the games. Instructions are in the flyer.

The cost to register for a spot is $50 per team and payment will be made the morning of the tournament so if you want to play there is still time to get a team together and practice before the big day. The only place I have played the game Cornhole was when I had down time to open the app on my phone and do the virtual version instead of in person. If I learned I bet I would be an awesome player in person as well with the right skills.

Local DJ Kenny James will be set up taking requests so if you have a favorite song be sure to request it. The DJ will also be acting as MC for sponsors and other announcements that pertain to the event. The tournament is on Saturday May 13th and first toss happens at 11AM at Colt 45 Baseball located at 12380 s Georgia Street. There will be extra bags on hand for people on teams or you can bring your own to use on the boards.

To sign up for the Cornholio app call or text (806)-433-6537. For information on how to sign up to play or sponsor contact Tim Hooks at (806)-231-1985 or email thooks7455@yahoo.com.
