We are less than a month away from the Spring season and one local nonprofit organization is gearing up for a fun event in the Canyon and Amarillo community. The Randall County Sheriff’s Posse will host their annual barrel race for a full day on Saturday April 13th at the RCSP Arena located at 8500 W. Cemetery Road.

Expos will happen at 10AM, 10:30 AM, 11AM, 11:30 AM and noon and each one has a cost of $5 to participate in the activity each lasting a maximum of 30 minutes with a limit of five tickets per person. The race will cost $20 for youth attendees 12 and under with 5D open costing $50 per ticket. There will be an office fee of $10 to get in for purchases made at the venue itself before the race begins at 1PM and competitors see who is the fastest in the game to create the winning record.

Pre-entrance will be available until 5PM on Thursday April 11th so be sure to get in contact with Katelyn at 505-660-8658 or Sara at 817-454-8964. One open ride night will be offered the night before from 6:30 to 8:30 PM costing 10/rider.

Check out the Sheriff Posse Facebook page for more information about this competition and go support a great cause for Randall County.
