Starlight Ranch in Amarillo Brings new Stage to Venue

The Starlight Ranch has been part of Amarillo for awhile now and has made a great contribution to the tourists coming through to see a favorite band or artist that is doing shows throughout the country. Recently the venue owner Bobby Lee sought an idea to make this Panhandle attraction bigger and better so more talent can come be a part of the community.

The venue is called Moon Palace and the first performance once open was Randall King who is a Texas Red Dirt artist known for the song "Mirror Mirror" among other singles. The addition of this new stage gives the opportunity for bigger audiences and more popular musicians to make an appearance in the music scene around Amarillo. I can see this being a great expansion for people looking to have a night out at The Big Texan and then attending a concert to round out a sightseeing on vacation. If any artists that I know are set to perform I would make sure that time is set aside for going out and being a part of my community entertainment scene.

Let's hope we can boost the Panhandle economy through this new event center.
