The holidays are in full swing for the season which means festivities will be taking place for people around America including fans of the football league whether it’s a professional or college team that’s being pulled for. Most recently the Dallas Cowboys played a home game against the New York Giants on the afternoon of Thanksgiving Day and what I noticed was nobody on either side scored any touchdowns until at least the second quarter with the Giants making the first one of the game and kicking the first field goal as well. I kept watching the clock and thought to myself how the home team in AT&T Stadium was going to achieve since the majority of this season has seen this team challenged. The clock kept ticking down and we began to see more action on the scoreboard with the Giants making the most field goals and yardage within the whole first half before Dallas finally came in towards the end right before halftime but still behind the opposing team score by at least five points. I began to weigh the odds of the game and who was more confident and favorable in the skill set as the teams played against each other. We had hope that something was going to happen in order to initiate a comeback sequence later in the night.

The halftime show featured two rising Country stars collaborating together on the single “Save Me” which has climbed to the top of the charts in Nashville most recently. The effects and overall presentation seemed to move very swiftly and continuity was very much a factor within the whole time. I noticed how the artists were dressed to look like the occasion that this was during the holiday. When the halftime show was over the second half saw it’s ups and downs with the Giants seemingly taking more timeouts than the Cowboys along with gaining more yards than the latter team. By the middle of the third quarter the game got very close when it came to points eventually leading to a ten point game to round out the last quarter.

That is the game in a nutshell with the Cowboys taking the win 20 to 27. Good job boys!!
