Most recently The Beatles celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Let it Be album which has received credit over the years with a Platinum certification across the Album charts that led to a huge sucess over such singles as "Yellow Submarine" and the title track along with other singles from the Fab 4. This album has also been recognized at the Grammys and other award ceremonies that honor the legends of the Rock music genre. The Beatles also have given credit to such organizations at the Armed Forces with the hit single "Back in the U.S.S.R" which I believe is a great way to honor the ones who are currently serving today and the vets who have a history of doing this as well. If you turned on your favorite radio station on back in the 1960's you can almost be certain that the DJ was talking about a concert for them especially in the bigger cities like Austin or Dallas and I bet they made a handful of sales at ticket booths in the days when online buying was not an option. I picture a line that is packed at a Houston or Dallas arena full of fans waiting to see their favorite band in person.

With each and every concert the audience of The Beatles grew and eventually the record sales reached record highs with the most popular flying off the shelves first. If I could see myself in the 1960's and 1970's I am pretty sure that I would be a part of the crowd of music lovers to purchase something just released. Hopefully this new box set will see some record breaking sales as well. If you want an early gift idea for Christmas you can get this online at Amazon or the Beatles website.
