The 80s had the Rock music that you could sing and dance to and that lasted through the majority of the decade. The Hooters are part of this and I listen to them on my time off when I get the chance so since they inspire me I thought about sharing some history about this band and how the stake to fame came to be a reality. For starters The Hooters began a new career in the early 80s forming in the state of Pennsylvania and playing their first show on July 4th, 1980. Fronts Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilion met in 1971 while going to college at the University of Pennsylvania and formed a small garage band starting out called Baby Grand based in Philadelphia.

The band has numerous number 1 singles with the first one being “All You Zombies” and one of my favorites by them “And We Danced” among others that received exposure at concerts and radio stations across the country which helps with revenue in general for the band. When the early 90s came The Hooters were still in full force releasing music and this continued all the way until the end of the decade when the band members decided to retire and call it a career.
Good luck to this group in the future. I will show support for years to come.
