If you have taken time out of your day to check on the recent times relating to the Rock music genre you may have been wondering about where our current trend of it’s sound regarding the elements that are usually there. This artist has the history of being with a band called The Heartbreakers in the 1970s and 80s when popular singles were released after recording the albums within singer Tom Petty’s career which spanned until his death. We will still have his songs to reminisce on the concerts that people of this generation were most likely attending in the years when Petty was young and still doing tours across the country catering to his audience. Most noted singles include “Running Down A Dream” “Free Fallin” and “The Waiting “ with the songs heading to the charts at number 1 thoughout the majority of the prime years in Tom’s recording industry career. The way he would match the rhythm of his songs that are recorded in studio with lyrics that tell a unique story made the eventual advancement in his music recording life a reality in the future.

In later years we would begin to see recognition of the significance of his influence within younger audiences who still appreciate the older music that is mostly geared towards previous generations. I grew up in the 2000s and though I’m part of the millennial crowd much respect comes from me when artists like Petty are still making an impact in numerous American lives for many fans. In recent times we have seen box sets holding the biggest singles from Tom Petty and his band catering to the anniversaries and other things that help his albums live on as the songs are played numerous times throughout the years. Personally I like the song Learning to Fly because it gives you hope that anything can be achieved through believing in yourself firmly and never letting obstacles get in your way to enhance and influence your success in life.
