There has been another format change in the Texas Panhandle that fills the void in the community for the Classic Rock station that left Amarillo in 2021. This wattage only covers the northeast half and comes out of the city of Pampa where it serves as a small community radio station with less than 100,000 watts. The longtime Rock format known as KDRL "103.3 The Classic" served the community up until late August of this year when the change took place. According to RadioInsight the station changed both branding and call letters becoming "103.3 The Arrow" with call sign KRWP while also adding a morning show to the lineup of shows.

This revamped format is something that hasn't happened in the Pampa community for a long time but with a new vibe change can be a good thing here in the Panhandle. I recently took a Summer vacation and stumbled upon this once I got back to my house noticing a different image on this radio station from what was previously on there in my other times listening. The type of format had a feel of the once thriving "95.7 The Kar" which I remember had a unique format that played songs that defined the classic rock scene from start to finish in the music industry.

Good luck to the owner of this station in the future of this station.
