One of my go to places back whenever I was younger was Western Bowl In Amarillo, I always had a smile on my face when a family outing was in store in the days leading up. I had one of my birthday parties there and got to bowl with my friends which was always such a great time when the chance came about.

The bowling alley was a decent size even though celebration reservations were in 2002 and the current restaurant that exists called Grills gone Wild had yet to be constructed, in the process of upgrades to the facility itself starting roughly around 2010. I have a friend who participates in Tournaments and they also added an option where you can choose to bowl with the lights off in the presence of neon lights and cool effects on the area of play and all around the area where the special tournaments take place. Some other ways this place has changed is the overall look and expansion to include not only a place to dine but since the community has grown to new heights there have been spaces added on for extra people to get their game on.

Now the game of bowling has been around for a really long time and goes back to the ancient Egyptians in the year 5000 BC. and various methods have been used ranging from stones being used to knock down a set of up to five or six pins, most likely these were constructed of a wooden structure as opposed to the current plastic version used as a mainstay to play the sport. I hope this fun game continues to live on in the future and through the advancement in technology we have been able to take this experience from the alley itself to your mobile device and tablet as an app. You can look in the market app on your device and I’m sure you can find one that best suits your taste. I have downloaded several software versions in the past and every one has it’s own unique playing style and scoring. Some you will find have options to play against the computer or an online opponent and play against a time limit of up to a minute to a minute and a half, whichever you feel is the best you have a wide assortment of themes to choose from.

Happy Gaming!!
