Allsups Expands to City of Claude

Allsups is a staple in a lot of people's lives especially in the Texas Panhandle where the majority of stores reside.

The chain has built stores around the Panhandle to provide a convenience store with the small items that you may need for a vacation snack or even a meal for dinner. Claude is the latest city to get an Allsups that just opened up a few weeks ago. This store has modern amenities like new registers and a new look on the walls and fixtures. The outside of the building has a new look that makes it a lot more upscale for today's market landscape.

This company was started by the Allsup family in Eastern New Mexico on the idea of having something that drivers could pull up to and grab small groceries without needing to get out of their cars. Of course the modern day version has you go into the store itself but Lonnie Allsup began with this concept starting out with a family business. The recipe come from the same people who created this franchise. The generation still lives on to this day and the legacy that is left will carry into what is next for this retail chain.
