Get Some Grunge: 3 Of My Favorite 90s Bands

Growing up I listened to Grunge on my boom box to live out a passion of mine. Below are three bands I consider to be my favorite.

1. Nirvana-This band was most popular during the early years of Grunge with the iconic song “Smells Like Teen Spirit” being released in 1991. Other songs include “Come as You Are” and “In Bloom” another one of my favorites.

2. Green Day-This band’s popularity was more towards the mid to late 90s. Songs like “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Holiday” became instant classics on stations and streaming platforms across the country. They still record new music today. I was in my college radio station when “Revolution Radio” came on the air and I got to back sell it for the first time before reading my Liners and PSAs.

3. Blink 182-Right off the bat “What’s my Age Again” is one that comes to mind as one of the great songs by this band along with “Always”. I crank it up when they come on the radio to show that I have a fan base.
