My favorite type of music is 80s pop and rock, I have developed that love through the years and these are my Top 5 picks for this era of big hair and retro theme.
1. The Police Message in A Bottle-This band released this song in the early 80s and I had their greatest hits album for awhile, makes me think of a white sand beach.
2. Bananarama Venus-This song talks about Greek Mythology if you really get into it, I like the upbeat tempo and fast rhythm throughout. It can make you dance for sure.
3. The Bangles Manic Monday-This one is an 80s classic that I can’t get enough of, great song to have on a playlist for a gathering for sure.
4. Real Life Send me an Angel-This one I also like to rock out to, it has a beat that I find to be great to dance to.
5. The Outfield Your Love-I have liked this song ever since I heard about it, it’s also a great 80s throwback as well.
Thats my list of favorite songs from the 1980s. I will listen for years to come.
