A new study has shown that eating frozen vegetables from the freezer may not be as healthy as if they came as fresh produce.
Part of this is because of the pre-packaging route that companies take before putting the product on store shelves, this involves adding different chemicals to help keep everything stable but preservatives can sometimes cause aging in fruits and veggies. This is why researchers advise against always relying on store bought and going towards either garden picked or if you want to buy then go the fresher route with produce because none of those types of items have been packaged or processed yet. When my family and I go shopping we usually go the route of produce so we are eating more healthy at dinner or lunch, I usually make sandwiches with fresh lettuce and tomatoes from our garden that we maintain in the Spring and Summer months.
I consider a healthy meal to be hand picked from the garden, it actually tastes better to me versus what you get for groceries so in the long run be it spinach, Squash or Carrots I would say that it‘s definitely better on your body and could even increase life expectancy by a decent margin. The types of fruit they say are most healthy range from Apples, Oranges, Bananas and the like, these types of food are rich in nutrients and are good for the body in many different ways.
What do you think of this research? Let me know
