Viva Las Vegas, how my Summer Vacation went

I recently came back from my very first trip to Las Vegas, I really enjoyed getting to see all the beautiful neon lights on the Strip at night.

The photo of me that you see is the Paris hotel, I didn't have time to go inside but this place is just like walking through the famous city in France, I was able to see the Eiffel Tower at night, it changes colors I estimate every 15 seconds.

Vegas is also a hotspot for different kinds of cuisine, the first night I had a burger and fries from Guy Fieri's restaurant, which was in the center Strip between our hotel and The Linq another hotel across from us. My favorite part was the Gouda cheese on my burger. I also went to the Piano Bar inside our hotel and watched as they played different songs, I even watched one or two people get up on stage to sing some karaoke, they were playing good music. Below is a picture of my dad and I in front of the venue.

This is an image I took on the High Roller, you can see the side of Harrahs, where we were staying. There is a casino inside every hotel, I played slots and won no more than twenty dollars, the machines kept talking my money, of course gambling is not for money, it's for the joy because you really don't know how the turnout might be, I played one machine and cashed out forty five cents!!

My favorite attraction that we went and saw was the water show at The Bellagio, it's water fountains that are synchronized with music, I even got a little wet from the part where one came towards me but it was worth it because the show was free.

The second night we were there we took a bus to Downtown and walked around Fremont street, I got to see a huge bridge going all the way across the street that was lit up with all kinds of neon lights, I payed $25 to go on the Slotzilla Zip line, another attraction I really liked , I wasn't scared at all as I was wearing a harness that was attached to cables that held me up. I had a good thrill with it but knew it was safe.

The night before I came back I went to go see Criss Angel at Planet Hollywood, he is an illusionist who starred in his own TV show Mind freak, my favorite part was when he levitated some people on stage and they looked like they were walking on the ceiling. After the show we gambled some on the casino floor before heading back to our room to rest.

The same day I went to the New York hotel and gambled some on the slot machines there, I seemed to have had better luck downtown than on the Strip, but it was worth a shot. I had lunch at a place called Broadway burgers, I got the hangover that had a beef patty and two fried eggs on top, the picture below was my drink, I know it looks like real beer but trust me, it's root beer.

To round my trip off we went to Toby Kieth's I love this bar and grill, they have live music every night ranging from today's country to hits from the 80s and 90s. I had a sirloin steak, potato salad and barbecue baked beans. But the best part was the live band, it put a huge smile on my face.

There you have it, my first trip to Vegas. I had a good time and hope to be back soon. I also hope you guys will continue to visit my page as I will try to post as much as possible. Thanks!!
