My Opinion on Hulu Live After Free Trial

Internet TV has recently become a mainstay for most consumers who are looking for alternative options besides their paid subscription to cable or other corded service.
I took time to try Hulu Live out without using my cable box and basically I hardly knew it was just a stream as it was pretty much the same channels I like such as Food Network, HGTV and all of my local affiliates. The only thing I wasn‘t a fan of was the guide, the way it is set up is you have to go to it and scroll to your favorite channel as opposed to actually channel surfing one by one. Streaming services do not give you designated channel numbers for networks but I know it will be that way with any Internet Protocol Service which I’m ok with.
But overall the experience was a great way to see if cutting the cord would change anything from what I was getting with cable, the only difference I found was there were certain channels only available with cable that were not on Hulu like Game Show Network. But I learned to love the other channel called Buzzr which has nearly all of the older game shows like Match Game and Password, as far as streaming quality I did not have buffering when watching my programs. The whole layout of the On Demand and DVR space I was pleased when I was able to find what I wanted to stream without jumping through a lot of obstacles.
Unlike a cable subscription you do not commit to any contracts with a streaming service, it lets you join and then tells you what the monthly rate is, giving you the option to cancel anytime as well as a week long free trial to see how you like the service before charging you. I would recommend Hulu to anyone looking for cable alternatives to save money and still have a wide assortment of content available to them, click on the link below to go to the website and check out rates for the packages offered. As the streaming service options grow I predict by the end of this decade the majority of households will be exclusively streaming online with a fire stick or a smart TV.
